Completing his study in 2009, Sean commenced employment at The Townsville Hospital as a Junior Cardiac scientist gaining skills in all areas of cardiac investigations. He commenced Echocardiography training in January 2010. Sean worked as part of a dynamic echocardiography service providing services in transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, contrast ultrasound, longitudinal strain imaging and emergency on call echocardiography services

 Soon after starting his pacing training in 2014, Sean vacated his position in the public system to pursue aspirations within the private sector founding Precise Diagnostics. Sean is proficient in not only the clinical aspects but also the commercial aspects of the healthcare system. He has particular interests in stress echocardiography and Emergency echocardiography and looking into the future would like to partake in research in the areas of Definity contrast and the effects of Methamphetemine use on cardiac status.
