Heidi commenced employment as a Cardiac Scientist in 2008 at The Townsville Hospital in all aspects of cardiac investigations including Holter Analysis, Exercise Stress Testing, 12 lead Electrocardiograms and Haemodynamic monitoring during Cardiac Catheterization. She started her training in Echocardiography in 2009 at the same centre. Heidi worked in a senior echocardiography position for 7 years specializing in transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography (Dobutamine and Exercise), contrast, strain and 3D imaging. Heidi also facilitated echocardiography education and training of junior staff and was an integral member in the emergency on call service.

 Heidi left her senior echocardiography position to join Precise Diagnostics in 2015. She has a special interest in 3D and Stress imaging. Heidi practices under the ASE guidelines and ensures that Precise Diagnostics are up to date with these guidelines and evidence based best practice.
